Handy Manny (play on the word Handyman) is set in the fictional town of Sheetrock Hills a play on the generalized trademark for drywall in the United States where the titular character, Manny, owns a repair shop along with his anthropomorphic talking tools. Sometimes Felipe and Turner don't seem to get along with each other in a few occasions.

Some people may find it a Bob the Builder rip-off due to how similar they are.

Some of the voices from the tools can get annoying.

Such as the episode, "Squeeze in a Pinch" where Squeeze accidentally pinches Manny's thumb and hurts him.
